City-nature research

In 2020, we published an article showing that the benefits of urban nature are studied in large cities much more often than in small or medium sized cities.

As part of this research, we generated a list of journal articles exploring the benefits of urban nature using separate searches for:

  • research on the benefits of urban nature for biodiversity
  • research on the ecosystem services provided by urban nature
  • research on the benefits of urban nature for human health and wellbeing
